1. Who we are

Design Repo ("we", "us", "our") operates designrepo.in:a curated directory of design tools for UI/UX designers and frontend developers. Questions? Email us at support.designrepo@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data:name, email address, and profile picture when you create an account via Clerk.
• Usage data:tools you save, stacks you build, comparisons you run, and your onboarding preferences (design role, experience level).
• Payment data:billing is handled entirely by Razorpay. We store only your Razorpay subscription ID and customer ID. We never see or store card numbers.
• Log data:standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.
• Analytics:we use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog is configured to respect Do Not Track and does not share data with third-party advertisers.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Design Repo service
• To personalise your experience (Pulse reports, role-based trending tools)
• To process subscription payments via Razorpay
• To send transactional emails (welcome, Pro activation, weekly digest) via Resend
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Convex (convex.dev), a US-based cloud database. Account authentication is managed by Clerk. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is limited to authorised team members.

We use the following services that may process your data:

• Vercel:hosting and CDN

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (set by Clerk). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support.designrepo@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. billing records).

9. Children

Design Repo is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site.
